Different Tpye of the Circular Knitting Machine

A seamless tube of fabric is created by joining the stitches made by the needles in a circular knitting machine, which has needles implanted in its cylinder.

In this type of double jersey machine, the needles on the dial and the cylinder are positioned alternately and oppositely.

In contrast to circular knitting machines, which typically only use one type of latch needle, interlocking machines use two types.

The fabric known as double jersey fabric, which is twice as thick as single jersey fabric, can be produced thanks to this dual arrangement of needles.

It has two sets of needles, one on a cylinder and the other on a dial, positioned at right angles to one another.

Since the dial is horizontal and the cylinder is vertical, the two sets of needles can be at right angles, which causes the needle on the dial to move horizontally and the needle on the cylinder to move vertically.

While all the loops on a wale are the same, these two distinct movements create the rib pattern, which can be identified by comparing the face and back loops as they go along to the coarse one after the other.

Contrary to a double jersey machine, a single jersey machine only has one cylinder, which is where a single set of needles and sinkers are positioned.

This cylinder's diameter is typically 30 inches, though this can change depending on the design of the machine and its needs.

The fabric produced by a single jersey machine is referred to as "single jersey fabric"; it has a plain thickness that is almost half that of a double jersey fabric.

This fabric has a noticeable difference between the front and back.

Three-wire weft lining, which belongs to a single-sided machine, can be woven with different weights by changing the raw material yarn count or using different specifications of needles. Then brushed, it can become flannel.

The yarn is fed into this circular knitting machine by an automatic yarn feeder that is pre-programmable, meaning it may be set up to feed the yarns in a certain way to create the desired fabric.

This machine's speed is significantly higher than that of the other circular knitting machines because of the automated feeding system it has.

These machines, which resemble basic knitting machines, have an actuator that enables the movement of needles through a computerized needle selection system.
