How to choose a good circular knitting machine?

2024-12-23

Circular knitting machinesare high-precision machines where the collaboration of each component is essential to achieve optimal performance. Defects in any single system can limit the overall functionality of the machine. Although Circular Knitting machine production may seem simple, only a few brands on the market excel in this area.

Many customers often have misunderstandings about the circular knitting machine purchasing process. They tend to focus on visible features such as yarn storage and knitting needles, but ignore key parts of the machine that deserve more attention.

Today we will explain in detail what a balanced and stable machine is from various aspects such as support mechanism, weaving system, cleaning system, transmission mechanism, lubrication system, yarn feeding system, and traction mechanism.

The support mechanism is particularly important as it serves as the framework of the machine. Some machine castings may contain a lot of porosity and a loose texture, which reduces the stability of the supporting machine. At high speeds, even slight vibrations from these castings can have a negative impact on the quality of the final fabric.

The residual stress of components that have not been actually tested has not been released. Although there is no problem when installing, after a period of time, these components may show slight deformation or shrinkage. This deformation is usually invisible to the naked eye, but it is quite important or even fatal for precision machinery.

If the same problem occurs on the large plate or top plate gear, it will cause a change in the gear meshing clearance.

Cylinders made of inferior materials will be worn by knitting needles after running for a period of time. The metal powder produced by wear is mixed with needle oil and brought into the yarn with the knitting needles, forming oil needles. Inside the worn cylinder, the position of the knitting needles changes, resulting in the formation of loops of inconsistent size, which in turn produces vertical stripes that cannot be resolved.

The lubrication system is directly related to the service life of the subsequent countersunk heads and knitting needles, and also affects the replacement frequency and cost of use.

The lubrication system of the countersunk head must ensure that the shoulder, foot and body of the countersunk head are fully lubricated. The location of the grease nipple is critical. When it comes to the lubrication of knitting needles, everyone generally pays attention to the lubrication of the needle root, but the location of the needle hook and needle latch is easily overlooked.

The effective operation of the cleaning system can extend the cleaning time, reduce machine maintenance work and reduce downtime, thereby improving production efficiency.

Regarding the yarn feeding system, I will not discuss in detail the yarn storage that everyone pays attention to, but I want to emphasize the bracket that is easily overlooked. The thickened square steel and sturdy bracket can make the entire yarn feeding system more stable.

In terms of transmission systems, I believe you will focus on choosing stable and reliable motor and inverter brands. As for transmission belts, synchronous belts provide a more stable transmission ratio. Bearings are usually installed in invisible positions and exist in multiple systems, but they are often overlooked by customers. It is best to ask manufacturers in detail about the bearing brands they use.

In the fabric taking system, in addition to the number of segments, uniform speed and fabric roll roller, the damping effect in the pulling system is also crucial. A good damping system can extend the service life of the fabric roll machine gearbox and reduce the wear of the large plate gear.

These aspects form the basis of the machine's precision and quality. Many people think that circular knitting machines are very simple to manufacture, but we always keep awe and keep learning. Many people think that ordinary machines are not high-tech, but we believe that the more common the model, the more difficult it is to make it well, and the simpler the fabric, the more difficult it is to make it perfect.
